I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana and am currently residing in Montana. I completed my Bachelors in photography at the University of Southern Indiana and am pursuing my Masters of Fine Art in photography at The Savannah College of Art and Design. My work is largely influenced by the romantic landscapes of the west and the desire to push the photographic medium to its ontological capacity. Photography, for me, is a way to see the world anew. It is a way to learn, to experience, and to communicate. I am constantly captivated by photography's transformative powers and its ability to mediate new experience and sensation. I use my free time to explore the landscapes of Montana, to paint, read, and spend precious time with family. After I graduate with my MFA in the Spring of next year, I hope to continue working on photographic projects while experiencing as much of the world as I possibly can.
